Password Finder provides password recovery services for several password protected document types. We are able to recover lost or forgotten passwords for Microsoft Office Excel, Word and Access documents. We can also reveal passwords for password protected ZIP archives. Recently we added password protected Adobe PDF file type to our recovery services.

Have you lost or forgotten the password protecting a valuable Microsoft Word or Excel document? Did an employee leave your company and didn't hand over his Word or Excel passwords? Did you archive the files you worked on for many hours and can't remember the password you protected them with?
In most cases we are able to recover your lost password. For this service we ask you a fee of €19.00. The payment is due after we recover your password and only if we discover it. No cure no pay!

If we can not recover your Microsoft Word or Excel password with our standard recovery methods, we have another service available: decryption of your Word or Excel document. This decryption service is very computing intensive. In average 1 day and maximum 2 days 2^40 (=1.099.511.627.776) keys are tested to decrypt your Word or Excel file. The fee for this service is €39.00, to be payed in advance. We can decrypt the file, so you will be able to open, read and modify the file again, but this method can not recover the password. How do I use this service?

In order to retrieve your lost password the next steps are involved:

1. Send your password-protected document as an attachment to recovery@pwfinder.com
2. Within 2 days you receive an email with the results of our recovery attempt. In case of a successful password recovery, you receive directions on how to pay us through PayPal.
3. On receiving your payment we will send you the password and remove your document from our server.

How can we recover your lost or forgotten password?

We use a large and customized password dictionary in combination with a "brute force" attack to reveal the password of your protected document. The software we use runs on a cluster of servers to limit the time needed for password recovery.
